Biography

Beverley served as a classroom teacher, Vice-Principal and Principal in the Toronto District School Board in 6 JK-grade 8 schools. She also worked centrally as the Chief Consultant for Gifted Education and taught as Adjunct Staff at York University's B.Ed. program for 10 years. In her collaborative work with staff, support personnel, students and parents, she created and implemented School Improvement Plans, focused on student success and cultural accommodations. In 2011, the Learning Partnership of Canada named Beverley as one of Canada’s 30 Outstanding Principals.
